Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Palmerton, PA | Grades 3-12
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in Palmerton, Pennsylvania . This position will serve students in grades 3-12 across two school locations and is a great opportunity for an SLP seeking a short-term school assignment.
Position Details:
Assignment dates: December 13 - February 25
Caseload of approximately 65 students
Grades 3-12
Consistent daily schedule across two school locations: 7:15 AM - 9:00 AM: Junior High/High School
9:00 AM - 2:30 PM: S.S. Palmer
School-based setting
Competitive weekly pay
Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs.
Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments as needed.
Develop and implement individualized IEP goals.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data and documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and school staff.
Provide age-appropriate interventions to support students' speech, language, and communication needs.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active or eligible Pennsylvania SLP license
Appropriate school-based certification/credentialing
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students preferred
Strong IEP, documentation, progress-monitoring, and organizational skills
