nSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP) Outpatient – Per Diem

nIncreased Rate $69.00

n$2,500 Sign on Bonus

nCal Rehab Outpatient Therapy specializes in providing care to patients with neurologic injuries or disorders (CVA, BI, SCI, PD, etc.) in addition to many other conditions. We focus on coordinated, multidisciplinary care as our team provides PT, OT, and SLP services and has a strong emphasis on the smooth transition through the continuum of care. We are looking for an SLP who will contribute to our development and growth as a clinic, is committed to high quality patient care, and values teamwork and communication, and is able to work with minimal supervision.

nnnSLPs with adult neuro experience are preferred, but others may be considered. Specializations are preferred but not required. Must be able to treat all areas of adult SLP practice including, but not limited to, cognitive, speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

nnClinic hours range within 8 am – 5:15 pm Monday through Friday. Patient care is primarily 1:1. This is subject to change depending on patient care and market needs.

n nResponsibilities

nnnEvaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.

n

nnResponsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.

n

nnEnsures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.

n

nnServes as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self.

n

nnPerforms other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

n

nnCoordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

n nQualifications

nMinimum Qualifications

nnnCurrent state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.

n

nnCertified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

n

n nPreferred Qualifications

nnCurrent Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred

n nPost offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
