Speech Language Pathologist SLP / Rehabilitation Specialist

Transform Lives Through Communication in Santa Clarita, California – Step into Your Role as a Speech Language Pathologist

Imagine a career where every day is an opportunity to empower someone to communicate again — with confidence and clarity. As part of a vibrant community in beautiful Santa Clarita, California, the role of a Speech Language Pathologist goes beyond treating communication and swallowing disorders. Your contributions will be pivotal in fostering relationships and restoring hope, whether you are guiding a child through their first words or aiding a senior in regaining their independence.

In this exceptional opportunity, you will engage with a diverse clientele across all age groups, delivering dynamic outpatient therapy blended with occasional inpatient support. Whether your expertise lies in pediatric speech development, adult neurological challenges, or geriatric communication rehabilitation, this environment promises both professional satisfaction and flexibility.

Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics using both standardized assessments and observational methods.

Create tailored treatment plans addressing both immediate objectives and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.

Implement individual speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and physicians, as well as engaging with families for effective care coordination.

Educate patients and their families to enhance progress beyond sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations to ensure continuity of care and effective recovery paths.

Ensure precise documentation is maintained according to organizational, state, and federal requirements.

Engage in professional development through continuing education opportunities and peer collaboration.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if currently unregistered with ASHA.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is desirable.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting your position.

Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches suitable for all age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Adeptness in modifying therapy techniques to align with diverse cultural and linguistic needs.

Strong critical thinking capabilities and adept problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.

Competitive salary reflective of your experience.

Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance and diverse patient demographics.

Options to delve deeper into pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric care.

Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday remuneration.

Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance packages.

Support for continuing education and professional growth initiatives.

A collaborative workplace prioritizing quality care and continuous learning.

In this role, you won't simply offer speech therapy — you will immerse yourself in a mission of community support, helping individuals find their voice, foster communication, and experience joy through heartfelt connections.

Here, you will collaborate with fellow clinicians who share a familial bond, thriving in a culture of teamwork rather than competition. Each patient you encounter has a unique narrative, and we entrust you to guide them in expressing it.

Life in Santa Clarita weaves the vibrancy of California's landscape with the charm of tight-knit communities. Surrounded by lush mountains and expansive parks, this destination invites outdoor enthusiasts, artists, and food lovers alike. Stroll through the Oak Tree Festival, unwind with a picnic in a tranquil park, or explore the many exquisite dining options ranging from gourmet restaurants to delightful local eateries.

Whether you choose to hike along scenic trails or engage with local art galleries, the possibilities are limitless. With a mild climate, numerous recreational opportunities, and an exciting cultural scene, Santa Clarita is more than just a place to work; it's a place to grow, enjoy, and truly live. Families create memories during weekend farmer's markets, while professionals flourish amid a growing economy with ample career prospects.

We seek a Speech Language Pathologist motivated by not only results but also compassion. A professional who perceives potential in a quiet child, dreams of fostering their self-expression, and recognizes determination beneath the challenges faced by a stroke survivor.

If you are a pediatric expert eager to step into adult therapy or a clinician focused on neurological rehabilitation who wants to explore pediatric practices, you will fit seamlessly into our vision.

Bring your heart and skills—together, we can forge meaningful pathways for our patients and their loved ones.

If you resonate with the belief that communication is about connection beyond just words, and that therapy extends beyond mere tasks—if you value trust as a foundation for progress, along with laughter and understanding—this could be your next impactful career journey.

Join our mission to celebrate voices, connections, and the bravery involved in restarting life stories. Apply today to lend your voice to our dedicated team—and help others rediscover theirs.
