nWe are seeking an experiencedSpeech-Language Pathologistfor aflexible PRN, W2 role in San Francisco, CA. This opportunity offers meaningful autonomy, strong clinical support, and the chance to provide high-impact, real-world care.
nWho We’re Looking For:
nnnAn experiencedSLPinterested in serving as theprimary therapistthroughout the full episode of care from evaluation through discharge.
n
nnAvailable for approximately10–20 hours per week, typically serving2–3 consistent clients.
n
nnPassionate aboutfunctional, real-world rehabilitationdelivered beyond traditional clinic walls.
n
nnReady to support clients as they transition back to meaningful daily activities, including:
n
nnIndependently managing and picking up prescriptions
n
nnReturning to driving
n
nnTransitioning back to work
n
nnParticipating inyoga, light hiking, and community activities
n
nnA clinician who thrives withprofessional autonomywhile valuing collaboration with an interdisciplinary team ofOTs, PTs, LCSWs, and other rehabilitation professionals.

nResponsibilities
nWhat you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:
nnnPerform evaluations and develop treatment plans of patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders
n
nnRegularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
n
nnPerform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
n
nnCommunicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
n
nnCommunicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
n
n nQualifications
nWhat you will need:
nnnMinimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
n
nnValid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
n
nnCurrent CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
n
nnA minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
n
nnDemonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred
n
nnCommunicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
n
nnAbility to lift 50 pounds
n
nnMoving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
n
nnDuties require fine motor skills ,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
n
nnAdditional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times
n
nnA health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations
