Ignite the Power of Connection in Scenic Arizona – Become Our Speech Language Pathologist

Imagine a career where your expertise not only creates pathways for communication but also serves a vital role in the lives of individuals. As a Speech Language Pathologist in Gilbert, Arizona, your work transcends mere therapy; it becomes a beacon of hope and empowerment. You will help traverse the spectrum of communication and swallowing challenges, sparking new beginnings for children just starting to speak and seniors seeking to reclaim their independence.

This position offers a distinctive chance to impact patients' lives across all age groups in a dynamic setting that fuses outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient support. Whether your passions lie in fostering early childhood language acquisition, addressing adult neurological communication disorders, or providing cognitive-linguistic therapy for older adults, you'll discover fulfillment and a balanced workload here.

Conduct evaluations for various age groups utilizing standardized tools and observational methods.

Design individualized therapy plans that focus on both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives.

Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting communication skills, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to ensure seamless care delivery.

Educate patients and their families to enhance therapeutic progress outside clinical settings.

Provide occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to facilitate consistent care throughout the recovery journey.

Keep precise and timely records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Engage in ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of advancements in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) when not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification necessary within 30 days of hire.

Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques spanning all age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Adept at modifying therapeutic approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving capabilities.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation compliance standards.

Attractive salary based on experience.

Flexible scheduling options to enhance work-life harmony and diverse caseloads.

Opportunities for specialization in pediatrics, neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.

Paid time off (PTO) along with holiday compensation.

Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Reimbursement for continuing education and support for professional development.

A collaborative and team-oriented environment that emphasizes quality care and lifelong learning.

In this role, your contributions will extend beyond speech therapy; you will become an integral part of a mission that rejuvenates voices, enriches communication, and creates delightful moments through the core of human interaction: understanding and being truly understood.

Here, you will work in an atmosphere where fellow clinicians treat one another like family, fostering cooperation over competition. Each patient's narrative is significant; we trust you to help articulate and navigate their journey.
