Your Role
Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized testing and observational assessments.
Create personalized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and enduring speech, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise integrated care plans.
Provide education to patients and families to promote progress between therapy sessions.
Perform occasional inpatient speech evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the recovery process.
Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Stay informed on the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.
Licenses and Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
