You will be the key to unlocking limitless potential, restoring self-assurance, and fostering connections that are vital from the first babble of childhood to the dignified independence of our elder community.
This role presents an extraordinary chance to impact individuals of all ages in a dynamic environment that uniquely combines outpatient therapy with some inpatient responsibilities. Whether your heart lies in helping children articulate their thoughts, assisting adults coping with neurogenic challenges, or guiding seniors in cognitive-linguistic recovery, here lies the opportunity for both professional fulfillment and flexibility in your career.
Conduct thorough evaluations for diverse age groups—pediatric to geriatric—using a blend of standardized evaluations and personal observations.
Craft individualized treatment plans that not only set immediate objectives but also attend to long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions that cover various aspects of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team comprising physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families to develop integrated care plans.
Provide education to patients and their families to foster progress that extends beyond the clinic walls.
Participate occasionally in inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care throughout the treatment process.
Maintain meticulous and timely records in compliance with all state and federal regulations, alongside organizational protocols.
Engage in continual professional development to remain abreast of advancements and trends in the field.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if ASHA certification is pending.
Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferable.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of onboarding.
Expertise in evidence-based practice across all age groups, with a robust understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
Outstanding communicative abilities with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary colleagues.
Capacity to modify therapy methods considering varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong clinical reasoning and adept problem-solving skills.
Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation best practices.
Attractive salary reflecting your experience and expertise.
Flexible scheduling options to promote a healthy work-life blend.
Pathways to specialize in fields such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
Paid time off and holiday compensation.
Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance choices.
Support for continuing education and professional growth initiatives.
A supportive, collaborative culture that prioritizes quality care and lifelong learning.
Embark on a Career Journey That Inspires Growth and Change
As you step into this role, you will not merely provide therapy; you will contribute to a community-focused mission aimed at restoring voices and enhancing communication, creating memorable experiences through the most profound human sentiments: understanding and being understood.
You will join hands with fellow clinicians who treat each other with kindness, in a context that promotes collaboration over rivalry. Each patient brings a unique story; we entrust you to help sculpt it.
