Imagine a career where every day is an opportunity to unlock the power of communication. As a Speech Language Pathologist in Little Rock, your role transcends traditional therapy. You will have the privilege of impacting lives, helping individuals overcome communication and swallowing challenges. From the laughter of children articulating their first sounds to empowering seniors in their quest to regain independence, you will be at the center of something transformative.

This position offers a unique blend of outpatient care combined with occasional inpatient responsibilities, providing a broad clinical backdrop. Whether your expertise lies in nurturing the speech development of toddlers, intervening in neurogenic disorders for adults, or supporting the cognitive rehabilitation of the elderly, you will thrive in this dynamic environment.

Engage in personalized therapy sessions focusing on various aspects of speech, including language, fluency, and swallowing capabilities.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care strategies that benefit each patient.

Educate patients and their families to reinforce therapeutic progress outside of the clinical environment.

Participate in select inpatient therapy assessments and treatments, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.

Maintain precise documentation in alignment with clinical guidelines and regulations.

Remain abreast of ongoing developments in the field through continuous learning and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first month of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based practices for individuals across the lifespan, with a deep understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders related to both developmental and acquired conditions.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Capacity to adapt therapeutic strategies to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical judgment paired with effective problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols.

Attractive compensation package reflective of your professional experience.

Flexible scheduling options that prioritize your work-life harmony and allow you to manage varied patient caseloads.

Pathways to specialize in areas like pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.

Generous paid time off (PTO) alongside holiday pay.

Comprehensive health benefits: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Support for continuing education and professional development, including reimbursement opportunities.

A collegial work culture that emphasizes teamwork, quality care, and lifelong growth.
