Job description
Make a difference by providing essential speech and language support to students by joining a welcoming educational community near Spring, TX. This contract position is tailored for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CF) eager to collaborate and help balance a high caseload across two elementary campuses. You'll work alongside an existing SLP to ensure each child receives the attention and guidance they need.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state license as an SLP (or eligibility if obtaining)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) status
Experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous
Strong communication and organization skills
Passion for helping children achieve communication milestones
Key Responsibilities: Manage and support a diverse elementary caseload alongside a dedicated SLP
Deliver engaging therapy sessions in group and individual settings
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers and other specialists
Maintain detailed documentation of progress and communication with families
Participate in team meetings and contribute strategies for student success
Provide consultative support for staff and parents on speech and language development
