Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Stoughton, Massachusetts

nJob Summary:

nWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at The Center at Blue Hills in Stoughton, Massachusetts. As an SLP, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy services to our adult and geriatric patients. Your expertise will help our patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders, regain functional skills, and improve their overall quality of life.

nResponsibilities:

nnnConduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and cognitive abilities

n

nnDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs

n

nnProvide speech, language, and cognitive therapy services to patients, including one-on-one and group therapy sessions

n

nnCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care

n

nnMaintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

n

nnParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans

n

nnStay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development and training

n

n nRequirements:

nnnMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program

n

nnClinical fellowship completion or equivalent experience

n

nnMassachusetts SLP licensure

n

nnAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

n

nnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills

n

nnStrong problem-solving and analytical skills

n

nnAbility to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team

n
