Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing a full range of speech‑language pathology services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary environment, consistent with professional practices and ethical standards.
Licenses and Certifications
Current, valid state SLP license (SLPCCC)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) preferred or required
Current valid CPR certification preferred
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
Experience: 0–1 year
Roles and Responsibilities
Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments and standardized tests
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients’ specific needs
Provide therapy to improve patients' communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing/feeding abilities
Educate patients and families about disorder nature, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress and enhance daily communication and swallowing
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Other duties as assigned
