Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Facility: Beach Breeze Rehab & Care
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Schedule: PRN
Pay: $55–$57 per hour

Beach Breeze Rehab & Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping residents improve their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions based on each resident’s needs, abilities, and goals.
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Recommend appropriate adaptive communication devices and provide training as needed.
Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, medical, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to individualized resident care planning.
Provide guidance and supervision to supportive therapy staff, as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, caregivers, and members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
Current Florida Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility for Florida licensure.
ASHA certification preferred.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to obtain CCC.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
