Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school speech-language pathology services in a school setting in Yuma, Arizona.

The ideal candidate will assist/provide evaluations, direct and consultative therapy, and IEP-related support services to students in accordance with school district requirements while supporting student communication development, educational access, and continuity of care.

Requirements

Applicable professional qualifications, licenses, and certifications required to provide speech-language pathology services within an educational setting.

Appropriately licensed and/or certified SLP (or supervised SLP Assistant where permitted by applicable law and licensing requirements).

Experience providing speech-language services in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.

Provide direct and consultative speech-language services based on student needs.

Develop recommendations, goals, accommodations, and interventions tailored to individual students.

Provide services addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and functional communication.

Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs when within scope and requested by the District.

Monitor and document student progress throughout the course of services.

Participate in IEP meetings and other student-related meetings as requested.

Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, administrators, and other service providers.

Prepare evaluation reports, progress reports, and required service documentation within District timelines.
