Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
Ability to competently complete video fluoroscopic Swallow Studies/MBSS
Assignment Details
8-hour variable shifts
No floating required
Expected to assess, treat, and monitor patients in speech, language, swallow, and cognition
Patient settings may include inpatient, outpatient, and SNF
Patient population may range from pediatric to elderly adult
Blend of inpatient, outpatient, and some school-based work, primarily outpatient and school-based
Reliable transportation is required for the assignment
