nUnder the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Clinician diagnoses and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP Clinician will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.

nSetting & Population Served
nProvidence St. Mary Medical Center facilities operate as a rural community hospital that provide:
nnnMedical and Surgical Units
n
nnIntensive Care Unit
n
nnInpatient Rehab Facility – CARF certified 8 bed unit
n
nnEmergency and Same Day Surgery
n
nnA diverse patient population including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs
n
n nAs a therapy professional, you will help patients achieve functional progress and improve quality of life within a supportive, patient-centered environment.
nWage Range: $43.64 - $67.74 DOE

nRequired Qualifications:
nnnEducation to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
n
nnUpon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License.
n
nnUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nn1 year Speech Language Pathology experience.

nPosted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
