nPosition Overview:
nProvides comprehensive evaluation, assessment, and treatment for patients experiencing cognitive, communication, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develops individualized treatment plans that promote functional communication, improve quality of life, and support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Establishes trust and collaboration with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams through compassionate care, clinical expertise, and effective communication. Continuously monitors patient progress, adjusts treatment strategies as needed, and advocates for optimal patient outcomes. Maintains compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and professional standards, to ensure patient safety, privacy, and quality care. Supports the development of future clinicians by providing clinical supervision

nEDUCATION:
nMaster's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program
nTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
n2 years recent relevant experience.
nCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
nSP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.
nBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
nDEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
nDepartment, SCAH: DL-Valid Drivers License
nDepartment, SCAH: AUTO-Automobile Insurance
nSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
nCritical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
nKnowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
nAbility to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirement.
nComputer and required technology proficiency/competencies.

nPay Range is $61.91 to $86.67 / hour
nThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
