Job Summary
Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. Develop or implement treatment plans for problems such as stuttering, delayed language, swallowing disorders, or inappropriate pitch or harsh voice problems, based on own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, or social workers.

Education
Graduate of a Speech Pathology Program (Required)
Masters or Doctorate from an accredited Speech Pathology Program (Preferred)
Experience
1 year experience (Preferred)

Self-motivated ability to work independently with little direct supervision
Demonstrated interest in professional growth through attendance at continuing education workshops and application of new principles/techniques
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Licensure and Certification
Missouri License of Speech Therapy (Required)
BLS within 90 days (Required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible (Preferred)
