Job description

Incumbent will create and maintain a safe, positive learning environment to ensure the holistic development of each student and staff member through cultural, social, spiritual, physical and academic experience. Incumbent will support the Bureau of Indian Education’s mission, which is to provide high quality education opportunities from early childhood through life while considering a tribe’s need for cultural and economic well-being. Education

Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification or Equivalent

(2) years of experience as a Speech Pathologist

* A two-year graduate program, which includes a minimum of 18 semester hours in the field of Speech Pathology with approved clinical practice is qualifying. Emergency and provisional certificates may be accepted under the conditions they are issued by the State certification authority. State Certification as Speech Therapist, Speech Pathologist or Language Therapist will be acceptable is basic qualifications for the level are met.

Physical Requirement

Must be able to obtain and maintain a background clearance.

Must obtain and maintain a valid state issued driver's license.
