nWe are seeking an experienced, licensed Speech Pathologist to join our team! As a Speech Pathologist, you will meet new clients of all ages, assess their speech needs, work with them in their home setting, and create personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals. You will also document all patient care, observe and participate in treatment, and adjust goals and milestones for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, can provide compassionate care to every person, is energetic, and has excellent organizational skills.
nResponsibilities
nMeet with clients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions
nMake evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that client, working with them and their families to set short and long-term goals for their speech and wellness
nAssist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
nMaintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcomes
nWork closely with the families of the clients and the clients themselves to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
nQualifications
nActive state license for practicing speech therapy
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
nExcellent organizational skills
nStrong charting and documentation skills
nFamiliarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
nA bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communication sciences and disorders, and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
