nJob description:

nWe are seeking a qualified and passionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and committed to supporting each child’s ability to communicate effectively in the academic setting.

nClinical Fellows are encouraged to apply! We offer excellent mentorship and supervision to support your professional growth and successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.

nKey Responsibilities:

nConduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write formal diagnostic reports.

nDevelop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students.

nProvide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.

nConsult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs in the classroom.

nParticipate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

nDocument and track student progress toward IEP goals.

nSupport literacy, social skills, and language development initiatives.

nSupervise and support other clinicians, if applicable.

nProvide training and resources to school staff regarding communication disorders.

nQualifications:

nMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

nValid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License.

nStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

nAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
