Job description
The Nurse Navigator for the Spine Center reports to the director of the Spine Center. Under limited supervision, the Nurse Navigator augments the preop process for elective spine surgery patients by attending preop clinic and providing spine surgery–specific education to help them prepare for spine surgery with the goal of achieving improved outcomes.
The Nurse Navigator contributes to the plan of care and interfaces with other care team members to provide communication and continuity.
