Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Splunk deployment strategy for an enterprise environment.
Define infrastructure needs, sizing of Splunk components, and storage requirements.
Setup replication for data availability.
Implement security, privacy, and integrity policies for enterprise deployment.
Optimize search performance using Splunk best practices.
Define backup and archiving strategies.
Design highly available, multi-department, multi-data center Splunk setup.
Create Splunk apps using XML and web components.
Experience with Hunk and related technologies is a plus.
Application development experience in Java, .Net, SQL, or PHP is advantageous.
