nOur Sports Medicine team is a seasoned and diverse group of providers, caring for referred Optum patients within the community.
nPractice Highlights:
nnn4-day work week or less
n
nn1:1 dedicated MA support
n
nnEstablished practice with built in referral network
n
nnProvide comprehensive non-operative sports medicine care for athletes and active individuals of all ages
n
nnDiagnose and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditionsnn
nnPerform ultrasound-guided procedures and joint injections as appropriate
n
nnCollaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and primary care providers
n
nnEvaluate sports-related injuries, concussion management, overuse injuries, and return-to-play decisions
n
nnEPIC EMR with integrated imaging and clinical workflow tools
n

n nRequired Qualifications:
nnnDoctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
n
nnBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
n
nnSports Medicine Fellowship
n
nnProficient in ultrasound guided procedures and/or strong desire to learn
n
nnActive, unrestricted medical license in Washington or ability to obtain
n
nnValid DEA license
n
n nCompensation for this specialty generally ranges from $259,000 - $458,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
