Job TitleRequired Skills & ExperienceMust haves: - 1-2 years of experience in golf course or sports turf management Experience overseeing sports field and grounds maintenance operations - Must have valid driver's license - Must have a clean background and drug test - High School Diploma or GED - Knowledge of mowing, trimming, irrigation systems, and sports field preparationNice to Have Skills & ExperiencePreferred: - Any certifications for spreading chemicals/pesticides Experience with overseeding, broadcast spreading fertilizerJob DescriptionHours: 7 AM - 4 PMDay to day: - Oversee 5-6 groundskeepers - Prepare baseball, softball, football, lacrosse, and soccer fields for events - Prepare athletic fields through painting, chalking, clay packing, and field setup - Conduct frequent inspections of sports fields and grounds - Plan, oversee, and perform daily sports field maintenance activities - Conduct routine mowing, trimming, edging, and turf management practices
