Spray TechnicianThe Club at Starr Pass is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Spray Technician. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon. The desired candidate would be someone who enjoys working outdoors, is a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and appreciates the value of hard work.Duties include, but are not limited to, mixing, preparing, and applying chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory as well as keep records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.Special Requirements:Have no problems wearing spray applicator suits, full face respirators, or chemical-resistant apparelAble to lift 50 poundsPerform simple calculationsWilling to learnDetail orientedKeep the area neat and organizedHave or are willing to obtain a Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employmentJob Description:Apply fertilizer and chemical applicationsUpdate spray records, inventory, and MSDS sheetsCalibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreadersGeneral upkeep and maintenance on spray equipmentOver time, be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issuesThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
