n nAbout the position
nThe Tax Intern position at Gulfstream Aerospace is designed for students pursuing a degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. The intern will work closely with the tax team to assist in various federal and state tax reporting processes, including indirect tax filings, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Corporate Taxation within a leading aerospace company.

n nResponsibilities
nnAssist with the preparation of Federal Tax Returns and supporting tax adjustments
nAssist with the preparation of property tax and sales tax returns
nPartner with the accounting team to assist in the monthly closing process, including journal entries and account analysis.
nProvide value-added analysis and drive continuous improvement recommendations.
nPerform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting as required.
nEnforce safety rules and procedures and ensure compliance with Gulfstream regulations.
n nPreferred degree programs
nnMust be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:nnTax
nBusiness
nFinance
nAccounting

nMust be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester, beginning in January 2027.
nCumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
n nPreferred Skills
nnKnowledge of Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.
nStrong communication and analytical skills are essential.
nAbility to work well in a collaborative environment and demonstrate leadership initiative.
