Spring / North Houston - Live-In Direct Support / CaregiverSpring Region - Spring, TX 77389OverviewSalary Range $10.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage Negligible Category Health CareDescriptionAnnual Compensation up to $43,420!$1,000 in Sign on Bonus (excludes PRN Staff; Attendance and Performance considered) and Free Rent and Utilities!Houston North / Tomball / Spring AreaIntegrated Community Services is hiring full time Live-In Caregivers in the Houston North / Tomball / Spring area to support three individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Integrated Community Services house and serve over 300 individuals with intellectual disabilities statewide in group homes, natural-residential settings, and in the foster care model from six regional satellite offices.This job is perfect for a Direct Support Professional or Caregiver who is looking to make a difference in the lives of others, and still be well compensated for that work! In addition to excellent pay, the Live-In caregiver will have a private master bedroom and bathroom, and utilities and local telephone paid by Integrated Community Services. This is an hourly position with the potential to earn up to $43,420.00 annually with overtime. The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations. This may also be a great opportunity for a student who is taking classes during the day.On the job Training provided!Live-In Hours:Monday – Friday: 6:30AM - 9:30AM and 3:30PM - 9:30PMSaturday – Sunday: 8:00AM - 8:00PMCaregiver Duties include:Assistance with Grooming and ToiletingAssistance with Meal preparation and Mealtime monitoringAssistance with Medication AdministrationSupervision during recreational activitiesHouse Cleaning (i.e., Sweeping, Mopping, Laundry etc.)Driving company vehiclesCommunication with outside family members and office staffSpecialized DocumentationBenefits:Health Insurance (after 90 days)401K (after 1 year)Vacation (2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years)QualificationsQualifications:Valid and current Texas Driver's LicenseClear Background CheckClear DMV CheckHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of EducationNo confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled personNo history of Medicaid fraud.
