Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Service Sales Representative will sell service agreements and service sales solutions to existing customers and competitive prospects for recently completed construction projects. The Service Sales Representative is responsible for development of recurring service sales, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients, conducting outside sales calls, developing positive, ongoing customer relationships. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, creating proposals for service agreements, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Service Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.Location: 7910 Professional Place Tampa FL 33637Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leadsCommunicates with customers and leads to identify product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needsDevelops a solid understanding of company product and services offeredDemonstrates functions and utility of products or services to customers through presentations and seminarsMaintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interestEnsures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-saleMaintains detailed reports of sales activitiesProvides periodic territory sales forecastsPerform other duties assigned by managementEducation & Qualifications:Must have a minimum of five years experience fire safety sales experience.Experience selling within construction related industry desiredRelevant or past industry knowledge highly desiredExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong sales and negotiation skillsAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAdhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety PolicyMust speak EnglishCurrently have and maintain a clean driving record and valid Driver's License - travel to customer sites requiredOther Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.The work also requires the following physical abilities in order to perform the essential job functions: balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer
