Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Sprinkler Service Technician independently performs service, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems. This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision. The technician may be considered at a Journeyman level and is expected to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems.Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.Accurately and timely complete required documentation and service reports.Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.Travel to job sites as required.Other duties as assigned by management.Education/Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.3+ years of experience in the life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.NICET Level I or above preferred.Strong understanding of sprinkler systems and service procedures.Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).Other Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties assigned by management.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.Ability to lift 50+ pounds.Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.Pay Range:$41 - Negotiable / per hour Based on experience and certifications.Anticipated Close Date:8/30/2026Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire & Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
