Job description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with executives to generate accurate and timely financial reports.
Conduct monthly financial statement reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Analyze budget variances across multiple financial plans and departments.
Manage subcontractor processes to ensure compliance with insurance and payment procedures.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to indirect cost allocation methodologies.
Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems.
Communicate effectively with professionals at all organizational levels.
Work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
8+ years of relevant accounting experience in a professional setting.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Bring experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to support financial decisions.
Contribute to the development and refinement of financial models.
Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
