Our client, a leading organization in the Insurance/Healthcare industry, is seeking a Sr Accountant to join their team. As a Sr Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

nPay Range: $48-52/hr

nWhat's the Job?

nnnPerform complex professional accounting work in recording and reporting financial transactions.

n

nnPrepare financial statements, regulatory filings, and perform detailed analyses.

n

nnEnsure timely and accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger for each entity.

n

nnCollaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

n

nnResearch and analyze fluctuations between current financial results and prior periods or budgets.

n

n nWhat's Needed?

nnnBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.

n

nn4+ years of accounting-related experience, including leadership or training roles.

n

nnProficiency in accounting principles such as GAAP and statutory accounting.

n

nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills.

n

nnProficient in spreadsheet applications and financial software.
