Temporary Senior Accountant – Torrance, CA
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour
Type: Temporary (with potential for extension or hire, if applicable)
Location: On-site in Torrance, CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Temporary Senior Accountant to support a well-established company in Torrance. The ideal candidate will have experience with fixed assets, accruals, bank reconciliations, and month-end close . A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required. Japanese language skills are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain fixed assets and related schedules
Prepare and post accruals and journal entries
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Perform accurate bank reconciliations
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Support audits and provide financial documentation as needed
Collaborate with other departments for financial reporting and analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required )
3+ years of accounting experience in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Japanese language proficiency is a plus , but not required
