Job description
Sr. Administrative AssistantThe Sr. Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior managers and other partners in the department.Key responsibilities include:1. Provides administrative and executive support to senior manager and other partners in West Michigan2. Composes and creates documents, spreadsheets and/or presentations3. Maintains and organizes paper and electronic files. Ensures confidentiality4. Manages database files5. Handles and confirms travel arrangements and processes travel expense reimbursements6. Schedules meetings and conferences7. Works on special projects, such as gathering, inputting and compiling information for reports as required by manager or other partners in the department8. May track or monitor expenses for the department9. May greet or assist clients and/or vendors10. Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines11. Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts12. Works effectively as a team member but also independently13. Business development support14. Culture and group engagement support15. West and East Michigan advisory board supportThe successful candidate will have:Professional communication skills (verbal and written) are requiredFinancial Services industry knowledge is preferredAnalytical and problem-solving skills are requiredTechnical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office and Workday)Event support knowledge is preferredWork AuthorizationApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
