Job description
Join a high-impact team supporting cloud cost management efforts for a major financial institution in Washington, D.C. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented business analyst who enjoys working with data, improving reporting tools, and helping users get the most from cloud financial management platforms.
Responsibilities
Support cloud cost management software and help ensure smooth day-to-day use across the organization
Onboard new users and assist with setup, adoption, and ongoing support
Create and maintain widgets, dashboards, and reports to improve visibility into cloud spending
Prepare user documentation, guides, presentations, and supporting materials
Compare datasets to help verify accuracy and consistency in reporting
Work closely with technical and cross-functional teams to gather information and deliver solutions
Skills
Strong background in data analysis and reporting
Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and terminology
Experience working with AWS cloud services is preferred
Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost management practices
Familiarity with data visualization, charts, and pivot tables in Excel or Power BI
Working knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Ability to analyze, organize, and compare datasets with accuracy
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving skills and a quick ability to learn new tools and processes
Preferred Skills
Experience with IBM Cloudability or similar FinOps platforms
Exposure to scripting tools or programming languages
Cloud computing certification or related experience
Background supporting highly technical, collaborative teams
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
