We're a fast-growing North American company delivering high-performance HVAC and chiller solutions to mission-critical environments.About the RoleJoin a fast-growing service team supporting mission-critical cooling systems for data centers and advanced industrial environments. You'll be hands-on with high-performance chillers, HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, and HVAC controls, traveling to job sites, commissioning systems, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring peak performance in the field. This is a high-impact, travel-intensive role with strong earning potential through overtime and travel.Travel & LocationTypical schedule: 2 weeks in the field / 1 week home (flexible based on projects)Open to candidates based anywhere in the United States, with preference for candidates located near major airportsPrimary project locations include Amarillo, Texas; Abilene, Texas; and other locations throughout the continental United States as business needs requireFrequent travel to support commissioning, start-up, service, and warranty activities at customer facilities and data centersWhy JoinEarn $140K+ with consistent overtime + travelWork on cutting-edge chiller and cooling systems powering AI & data centersGain hands-on experience with advanced HVAC controls and automation systemsTravel to diverse, high-impact project sitesJoin a rapidly growing company in a booming industryWhat You'll DoRework & Completion: Prepare and finalize units for field deployment, ensuring quality and readinessStart-Up & Commissioning: Perform electrical, mechanical, chiller/refrigeration, and HVAC controls verification (L2–L5)Chiller Service: Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair chillers, refrigeration circuits, compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and associated mechanical componentsField Service: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC and cooling systems, including controls and automation components, on-siteSystem Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, and controls-related issues affecting chiller and cooling system performanceCustomer Support: Represent the company in the field with strong communication and professionalismDocumentation: Complete service reports, track issues, and support continuous improvementWhat You Bring7+ years of experience in chiller service, commercial/industrial HVAC, HVAC field service, commissioning, or industrial/mechanical systemsStrong hands-on chiller technician/mechanic experience, including troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial or industrial chillers and refrigeration systemsStrong troubleshooting skills across refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and controls systemsExperience working with compressors, refrigerant circuits, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and related chiller componentsExperience with HVAC controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), BACnet, Modbus, PLCs, or similar control platforms is highly preferredExperience with commissioning/start-up is a plusWillingness to travel frequently (50–80%)Ability to work extended hours and overtime as neededStrong communication and customer-facing skillsComp & PerksCompetitive hourly pay + consistent overtime ($140K+ earning potential)Travel opportunities across major project sites throughout the continental United StatesExposure to next-generation AI and data center infrastructureCareer growth in a rapidly expanding industryCompany DescriptionXNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems.
