Job description
Senior Commercial Relationship ManagerThe Senior Commercial Relationship Manager manages and grows a portfolio of commercial member relationships, driving loan and deposit growth while ensuring strong risk management and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in expanding market share through new business development, deepening existing relationships, and delivering tailored commercial banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, retain, and grow a commercial portfolio with a focus on C&I, CRE, and SBA lending.Drive loan and deposit growth through business development, lead generation, and centers of influence.Analyze financial statements and structure commercial loan requests; present recommendations through the loan approval process.Ensure portfolio risk management aligns with credit union policies, strategy, and regulatory requirements.Proactively call on members and prospects via in-person and phone outreach.Cross-sell commercial products and services to meet member needs.Participate in community and business organizations and support Commercial Services initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in C&I and CRE lending, including SBA lending.Strong business development, credit analysis, and relationship management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of commercial lending regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
