Job Overview:

Search Solution Group is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant on behalf of our client, a leading Consumer Services company. The Senior Corporate Accountant will support corporate accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional who is eager to contribute to a growing organization and take on increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities: Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.

Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Prepare financial analyses, schedules, and supporting documentation.

Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained in accordance with GAAP.

Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.

Analyze financial data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities.

Collaborate with internal teams to support accounting and financial reporting needs.

Assist with process improvements and accounting initiatives as the organization grows.

Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

Experience:

Several years of progressive accounting experience.

Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial close processes.

Skills:

Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Certifications:

No specific certifications required.

Knowledge:

GAAP and accounting principles.

General ledger accounting and reconciliations.

Financial close and reporting processes.

Financial analysis and accounting controls.
