The Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers, through face-to-face interaction. The CAR Sr will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide rental back-up, service customers and deliver administrative support in home city branches or airport locations.Opening available at the following branch location: 497 Hawthorne Dr NE, Norton, VA 24273This is a full time position with a starting rate of pay $18.25 / hour.We offer a robust Benefits Package including, but not limited to:Paid time offEmployee rental car discountsRetirement savings plan including 401k with matching profit sharingHealth InsuranceLife InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceTraining and developmentSchedule:Monday: 7:30am-5:30pmTuesday: 7:30am-5:30pmWednesday: OFFThursday: 7:30am-5:30pmFriday: 7:30am-5:30pmSaturday: 8:00am – 12:00pmResponsibilities include:Take incoming calls- reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendorsManage outgoing calls for callback management, A/Rs and miscellaneous calls as assignedProvide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phoneMeet and greet customers in a friendly and timely mannerProvide directions and general assistanceAssist to assess condition of rental upon returnProcess returns, check-ins and exit kiosk transactionsEffectively market the company while picking up customers up and/or dropping off customer in a safe and courteous manner and assisting customers as neededUnderstand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other servicesMay sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipmentResponsible for notifying Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenanceClean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or by operating washing equipment when neededPerform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as: research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, process customer billingPerform miscellaneous and backup duties job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransMust be at least 18 years oldMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.High School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredMinimum of 1 year customer service or sales experience in a fast paced environmentMust have a valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points)No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
