Job description
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting and analyzing data anomalies across various environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to complex data initiatives.
Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze data issues reported by business units. Collaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to document data transformations and movements. Ensure proactive support methodologies for data movements and transformations. Assist in production validation and break-fix scenarios related to data structures. Contribute to the setup and configuration of Data Virtualization and Master Data Management tools. Maintain up-to-date documentation for data standardization, dictionary, and lineage. Interpret patterns and trends from various data sources. Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented agile environment.
Skills
Proficiency in SQL with experience in OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data databases. Experience with Exadata and SQL Server databases. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to write medium to complex stored procedures. Effective collaboration and teamwork skills. Extensive experience in writing complex queries. Knowledge of data movement and processing, including ETL, API, and OLAP. Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Denodo and Master Data Management. Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and MongoDB. Knowledge of Postgres and cloud environments.
