Job description

About the Role

PX's data monetization business turns lead and data inventory that has passed the real-time delivery window into a high-volume, lower-cost acquisition channel for our customers. This Sr. Director owns revenue growth for that line: building the buyer pipeline, negotiating supply and demand deals, and expanding the monetization pool into new verticals and account types.

Key Responsibilities

Own revenue growth for PX's data monetization line: build and close a pipeline of lead buyers and resellers across insurance and adjacent verticals.

Identify and prioritize new verticals for the monetization pool, sizing demand and building the business case to enter them.

Negotiate pricing, volume commitments, and exclusivity terms with both buyers and publishers (sellers), balancing margin against fill rate.

Partner with compliance and data quality teams to ensure records meet Jornaya, TCPA, and duplicate-suppression standards buyers require.

Work with product and ops to define aging tiers, filtering (industry, geography, age band), and delivery mechanics (API, batch file) that match buyer needs.

Track pipeline, win/loss, and revenue performance; forecast the monetization line's growth for leadership.

Represent PX's monetization offering at industry conferences and in partner conversations as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

7+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships within lead generation, performance marketing, or data licensing.

Direct experience buying or selling leads/data in insurance, financial services, or home services verticals.

Track record building and closing six- or seven-figure deals with lead buyers, resellers, or affiliate networks.

Working knowledge of lead compliance requirements (TCPA, Jornaya/LeadiD, consent-based marketing).

Comfortable negotiating both sides of a marketplace transaction: buyer demand and publisher supply.

Strong quantitative fluency with fill rate, CPA, margin, and cohort-based lead quality metrics.

Self-directed, comfortable owning a revenue line with high autonomy in a remote role.

Preferred

Prior experience at a lead exchange or marketplace, or on the buy side at an insurance carrier or agency.

Existing relationships with lead resellers or affiliate networks in insurance or adjacent verticals.
