Responsibilities
Project Management of a team of engineers/designers to complete electrical design projects. Coordinate with other disciplines as required for a successful project. Interface with clients and owners. Writing project specifications. Managing project budgets. Meet with clients for the purposes of obtaining future work. Design building and site lighting systems. Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment. Calculate and analyze electrical loads. Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy‑efficient design. Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines. Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review. Perform construction site visits and write field reports.
Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years experience in the A/E/C industry
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communications skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Excellent attention to detail

Compensation
Salary range $120,000 – $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
