Executive Protection SpecialistJoin Ecolab's team and help create a world in which we all thrive.We are seeking an Executive Protection Specialist to join our Protective Services team in St. Paul, MN. In this role, you will support the safety and security of senior executives by delivering discreet, professional, and service-oriented protective coverage. You will operate in dynamic environments while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and situational awareness, partnering closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless executive protection.How You'll Make an ImpactProtective Operations & Executive SupportHelp maintain a safe and secure environment for executives, family members, and authorized guestsProvide protective coverage during daily activities, travel, and special eventsObserve, assess, and communicate potential risks or unusual activityOperate with discretion and professionalism in both visible and low-profile protection environmentsSecure Transportation & Travel SupportCandidate will be primary provider for principal's secure transportation, including support of defensive and protective driving requirementsConduct route planning and advance preparation for executive movementsSupport protective coverage during domestic and international travelAdvance Work, Events & Site AssessmentsAssist with venue assessments, event security surveys, and advance preparationAccess Control & Physical SecuritySupport established access control and physical security procedures at offices, residences, and temporary sitesMonitor security equipment and report functionality issues or enhancement opportunitiesCommunication, Coordination & ReportingServe as a communication link during protective operationsCollaborate with internal security teams, law enforcement, and third-party partnersPrepare operational notes, briefings, and post-event summaries as neededAdministrative & Program SupportContribute to operational planning, documentation, and protective program improvementsAssist with research, due diligence, threat assessments, and intelligence summariesParticipate in ongoing training, drills, and professional developmentCoordinate with event teams, drivers, and internal/external partners to ensure seamless operationsSupport contingency planning and emergency response proceduresSkills & CompetenciesTechnical & Operational SkillsAbility to operate protective communications equipment (e.g., radios, GPS-based tools)Basic understanding of protective intelligence, security technologies, and access control systemsCapability to produce site assessments, route plans, and operational reportsProfessional & Behavioral CompetenciesStrong situational awareness and decision-making under pressureClear, professional written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of integrity, discretion, and confidentialityAbility to build trust and effective working relationships with executives and stakeholdersPosition DetailsLocation: St. Paul, MNWork Week & Shift: Flexible schedule; may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shiftsTravel: Domestic and international travel required (up to 50%)Physical Requirements of Position:Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and fitness evaluationsCapacity to stand, walk, and operate across varied environments and conditionsFlexibility to adapt to changing schedules, assignments, and emerging security concernsCommitment to compliance with all organizational standards and regulatory requirementsMinimum Qualifications5 years of experience in executive protection, physical security, military, law enforcement, or a related fieldValid driver's license with a strong record of safe drivingWillingness to complete advanced or protective driving trainingAbility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short noticeStrong communication skills with a service-oriented mindsetAbility to maintain discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment under pressureImmigration sponsorship is not available for this rolePreferred QualificationsCPR, AED, and First Aid certificationsEligibility for or possession of certifications such as LEOSA/HR218, CCW, or PPSFamiliarity or introductory training in:Defensive tacticsEmergency medical responseEvasive or protective drivingFirearms safety and proficiencyExperience with access control systems, residential security, or surveillance technologyBackground in client-facing, hospitality-oriented, or service-focused environmentsWhat's in it for You:Starting on Day 1: Access to our comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, matching 401K, company-paid pension, stock purchase plan, paid parental leave, select discounted childcare resources, and more!The opportunity to take on some of the world's most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environmentsThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00.
