Role and responsibility:
Design, develop, and support systems within the financial modeling, analytics, and research area.
Design and develop new code and review existing code changes to ensure standard technology development practices are met.
Assist in the operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and controlling of market and credit risks.
Assist with application development and modifying and/or maintaining applications; Demonstrate knowledge of development tools and languages.
Assist other areas of financial research and engineering when defining requirements for systems applications. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering ,or related technical field and 2 years of experience developing analytics software applications, OR
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience developing analytics software applications,
Practical experience with Python, front-end technologies ( React, JavaScript, and web application development), along with the capability to write effective code.
Experience or background in fixed income, account, or capital markets is a plus.
AI experience, including using LLMs to build agentic applications, is a plus.
Must be creative and able to deliver quick solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of:
quantitative finance
Python,
Python web technologies, e.g. Flask, Dash
Python data processing technologies, e.g. Pandas, NumPy
Solid understanding of web applications, e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Solid understanding of DB and SQL
Linux/Unix OS
Preferred experience:
AI agentic programming
JavaScript framework: jQuery, data table, React
Front-end design, CSS, Tailwind
Cloud technology, Google Kubeflow, AWS
Mortgage or GSE experience
R, Java, C, C++, SAS
