Job Title: Sr. Interior DesignerJob Description
nWe are seeking a Sr. Interior Designer to creatively develop design concepts, produce architectural designs, and ensure project goals are met with high standards. The role involves collaboration with clients and team members to bring innovative solutions to life.
nResponsibilities
nnnDevelop and creatively design concepts for various clients and projects.
n
nnPrepare and produce CAD drawings to document architectural designs.
n
nnInterface with clients on design issues and develop architectural solutions.
n
nnReview and modify production drawings and construction documents.
n
nnAssist with master planning, site, and building planning using 2-D and 3-D modeling.
n
nnProvide creative design direction during the conceptual and schematic phases.
n
nnPerform design computations and compile data for architectural assignments.
n
nnReview building codes and conduct zoning analyses for legal compliance.
n
nnAssist in construction administration by reviewing shop drawings and answering RFIs.
n
nnPrepare finished material sample boards and graphic presentations for clients.
n
nnCoordinate with disciplines like Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical.
n
nnEnsure timely and effective management and delivery of project drawings.
n
nnAssist Project Managers and Architects with oversight on various projects.
n
nnMentor associates and staff on architectural design concepts.
n
nnStay current with graphic standards and building construction methods.
n
nnResearch construction materials and systems.
n
n nEssential Skills
nnnProject management expertise.
n
nnProficiency in Interior design and Revit.
n
nnExperience in space planning and healthcare projects.
n
nnStrong skills in construction documentation and interior architecture.
n
nnExperience in project coordination and architecture drafting.
n
nn8-15 years of experience, with a focus on production and design details.
n
n nAdditional Skills & Qualifications
nnnBachelors and/or Masters degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
n
nnMinimum two years of experience in managing multiple projects in architecture.
n
nnExperience with site planning and zoning analysis.
n
nnConstruction administration experience.
n
nnLEED accreditation preferred.
n
nnExcellent problem-solving and communication skills.
n
nnAbility to work independently and within a team.
n

nThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wayzata, MN.
nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
nIndividual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
