nThe Senior Internal Auditor will plan and conduct risk-based financial, operational and compliance audits across Revelyst's operations. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding assets; optimizing operational efficiencies; ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and company policies; and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with complex, multinational companies in the consumer packaged goods or retail sectors.
nThis is a hands-on role and the Senior Internal Auditor must possess deep expertise in auditing, internal controls and business processes and thrive working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
nThis position reports to the Internal Audit Manager and is based in our Irvine, CA office.
nAs the Senior Internal Auditor, you will have an opportunity to:
nnnDesign and implement risk-based audit plans and programs.
n
nnConduct internal audits across financial, operational and compliance areas.
n
nnDocument, evaluate and test internal controls and recommend improvements.
n
nnEvaluate fraud prevention measures.
n
nnPrepare detailed audit reports and present findings.
n
nnParticipate in finance/accounting transformation efforts by document existing accounting processes, systems and internal controls.
n
nnMonitor remediation efforts and track corrective actions.
n
nnStay current on industry regulations, trends and audit methodologies.
n
nnPerform or support other projects and activities as directed.
n
nnDevelop, review and update accounting policies and procedures.
n
n nYou have:
nnnBachelor's degree in accounting
n
nnProfessional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA, with experience in a national public accounting firm.
n
nn5+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership.
n
nnDemonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence diverse stakeholders.
n
nnExpertise in risk assessment methodologies and internal control frameworks.
n
nnProficiency in data analytics tools and audit management software.
n
nnExperience in large or mid-cap companies-preferably in consumer products or similar industry.
n
nnExperience with complex global entities.
n
nnStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Sec. 302 and 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and U.S. auditing standards.
n
nnExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite and with applications such as Blackline a plus.
n
nnAbility to work in a complex organization having multiple business units, brands and ERP systems.
n
nnStrong analytical and communication skills.
n
nnDemonstrated talent for improving processes and a mindset for continuous improvement.
n
nnStrong work ethic, a sense of urgency and unquestioned integrity.
n
nnProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).

nnAbility to work on site in our Irvine, CA offices at least 4 days per week.

nPay Range:
nAnnual Salary: $110,000.00 - $116,000.00
nThe actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
