As a Senior Internal Auditor here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal audit processes and enhancing our risk management practices. nWork schedule: Hybrid after 90 days (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
nReport directly to: Internal Audit Manager

nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
nnnDevelop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan, aligned with the risk assessment and company risk framework.
n
nnLead and manage internal audit projects, including scoping, planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
n
nnAssess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures.
n
nnIdentify areas of potential risk and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
n
nnReview and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
n
nnProvide guidance and recommendations to management for process improvements and risk mitigation
n
nnStay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in internal audit and proactively introduce relevant improvements to the organization.
n
nnBuild strong, collaborative relationships with management, external auditors, and other key stakeholders.
n
nnPrepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
n
n nYOU MUST HAVE
nnn2 years of experience in auditing or internal controls roles.
n
nnExperience working with US GAAP and SOX Regulations.
n
nnStrong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, standards, and practices.
n
nnExperience in conducting audits in a global, multi-national organization .
n
nnDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
n
n nWE VALUE
nnnBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
n
nnProfessional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certifications
n
nnStrong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
n
nnAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
n
nnAttention to detail and strong organizational skills.
n
nnAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
n
nnKnowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

nnProficiency in data analysis and audit software
