We encourage anyone who shares our values to apply today!We are proud to offer our employees:Apprenticeship and Comprehensive Training ProgramsPaid Holidays Upon HireCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionPaid Time OffCompany Paid Short-Term Disability & Life InsuranceSafety Bonus ProgramEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramWork Travel IncentiveHoliday BonusCompany provided toolsAnd so much more!Responsibilities:Lead projects effectively and efficientlyAllocate general and daily responsibilities to apprentices, machine repairman, and other foremanTrain and develop apprentices and machine repairmanUnderstanding design layouts and blueprintsKeep the job site clean and well-organizedAssist with coordination of materials, labor, and equipmentEnsure attention to detail and follow safety standardsCommunicate with supervisor, estimator, PMs, and customers on the status of projectsFinancial awareness- seeking opportunities to optimize financial costs and investments while working on projectsMonitor, and report daily work progress through written summaries and job site picturesTechnical Skills:Job layout and processes for job completionInspect mechanical or industrial equipment to locate damage, defects, or wearAble to disassemble and repair stamping pressesAble to perform and delegate as required piping repairs- lube system repairs, thread pipe, tubing and steam fitting workAble to verify run-out on spindles and shaftsKnowledge of bearing installationPrecise measurement of thickness, diameter, length, and width of machine components for installation, repair and quality controlIndependently responsible for quality controlSelect rigging components and develop rigging procedures for general load handling activities and delegate, if necessaryAttach rigging to a load based upon a pre-planned rigging method or delegate support as requiredEstimate the weight and center-of-gravity of a load or delegate support as required.Identify suitable rigging points for the load to be handled or delegate support as requiredSelect the rated rigging components based on its anticipated tension or delegate support as requiredAnalyze and understand the effects of angles on rigging components or delegate support as requiredUnderstand proper procedures for load handling equipment dynamics and the associated hazardsPerform the positioning of chain falls, hoists, blocks, rope, jacks, chains and rigging or delegate support as requiredAble to perform inspection of cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, slings and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved or delegate support as required.Rigger 2 certified & qualifiedTorch cuttingBlueprint readingPneumatic and hydraulic schematic readingConfined space entrantStick (arc) welding*Confined space attendant/supervisor*Equipment & Tool Operation:Aerial-lift Operation - Boom LiftAerial-lift Operation - Scissor LiftForklift Operation - Material Handling up to 5000#Chauffeur LIC/Med DOT Physical*Trailer loading and securing of material & equipmentPrecision measuring equipment (ID/OD micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)Overhead crane certified & qualified (NCCER/NCCCO)Mobile crane certified & qualified (NCCER/NCCCO)*Material handling equipment (i.e. skates, power dolly's, jack & slides)*Operate equipment (lathe, mill, saw, drill press, etc.)Laser alignment*CAD Software (SolidWorks, AutoDesk)*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, and nothing herein restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
