Job Summary
The Woodlands Breast Center is actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Mammographer to support the department on a full‑time basis. The role requires performing mammography radiographic procedures, mentoring new staff, and supporting supervisory responsibilities.
Schedule
10‑hour shifts, four times per week (Mon‑Fri, no Tuesdays)
Saturday shift once per month as needed
On‑call and overtime available

9250 Pinecroft Drive, The Woodlands, Texas (Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center)
Responsibilities
Perform mammography radiographic exams for patients, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures, positioning, and image quality.
Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, administer contrast when necessary, and monitor patient flow.
Maintain equipment performance: quality assurance, equipment modifications, and troubleshooting.
Enter and monitor patient data and health histories relevant to examinations.
Act as a resource, mentor, and preceptor to technologists of all experience levels.
Assist management with staffing schedules and department operations.
Address patient complaints, resolve issues, and maintain a safe environment.
Maintain safety, environmental, and infection control procedures.
Complete quality assurance documentation and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology school and a Mammography Technology program.
Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT) and ARRT-R/ARRT-M certifications.
Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
Demonstrated ability to perform quality control and stereotactic exams.
Physical ability to lift and maneuver patients with assistance as needed.
