Job description
Join a dynamic digital analytics team where you’ll help shape how data is collected, connected, and transformed into actionable insights across web and mobile experiences. This hands-on leadership role focuses on Adobe Experience Platform implementation, analytics strategy, and experimentation support for a major retail environment.
Responsibilities
Lead initiatives to design, implement, and automate data collection strategies within Adobe Experience Platform. Support end-to-end Customer Journey Analytics work, from planning and configuration through deployment and post-launch support. Partner on measurement strategy to ensure data flows accurately across platforms and aligns with business priorities. Integrate data from multiple sources, including analytics, targeting, marketing, and third-party systems, into a unified platform for reporting and analysis. Translate solution design requirements into technical tagging and tracking solutions for web, mobile, and app environments. Develop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy code changes related to tracking, tagging, and data layer enhancements. Improve digital data layer structures and support event-based tracking approaches across tag management solutions. Create and maintain scripts, plugins, and custom tracking logic using JavaScript and related web technologies. Support QA, debugging, and deployment activities in an agile environment to help ensure accurate and reliable analytics data. Collaborate with technical and business partners while providing hands-on leadership across analytics implementation efforts.
Skills
10+ years of experience in analytics, including work with tag management and tracking implementations. 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing Adobe Experience Platform services such as Customer Journey Analytics, Journey Optimizer, or Real-Time CDP. Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Data Collection, web and mobile SDKs, schemas, datasets, and identity management. Excellent JavaScript skills, along with experience using HTML, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues using browser-based debugging tools and analytics QA utilities. Experience working with APIs and automation for reporting or platform integration. Strong knowledge of marketing technology and cloud-based information systems. Experience leading analysts or developers and collaborating across technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP. Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer. Background in Adobe Target experimentation or A/B testing implementation. Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI dashboard development. Exposure to Google BigQuery and data ingestion pipelines from online and offline sources. Experience with Adobe I/O and API tools such as Swagger or Postman. Working knowledge of Node.js, CSS, Python, Domo, or machine learning concepts. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
