Sr Technician Product Test & CalibrationManufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.Job SummaryThe Sr Technician Product Test & Calibration is responsible for providing preventative maintenance as well as technical support to improve the efficiency of the facilities' equipment, minimize the downtime due to equipment failure by, keep records and data bases updated, perform general repairs and installations, and up keeping the buildings and equipment in the plant. This position also assists in training.Shift Details3:00 pm to 11:00 pm - Monday to FridayResponsibilitiesCoordinate and perform unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on assigned equipment as needed and document changes as required by operating procedures.Assist in the maintenance of equipment and provide instruction to Maintenance personnel during the process.Provide technical assistance as requested and arrange for support if necessary.Ensure proper set-up of facilities equipment according to procedures and product specifications at the completion of assigned tasks.Observe plant regulations and use personal protective equipment as required.Transport hazardous waste to accumulation areas.Be on a Call In/On Call status when needed.Qualifications2-4 years of experience, preferredHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredFrequently lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.Comfort working with heights regularly.What is expected of you and others at this levelApplies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasksDemonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibilityMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issuesMay assist in recommendation of processes on new assignmentsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks with limited supervisionWork occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisorMay provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team membersAnticipated hourly range: $24.25 - $34.15 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
